For those who believe that the way to the heart is through the stomach, Hestercombe Gardens near Taunton is hosting a Valentine’s Day Dinner. Imagine a delectable Valentine’s-inspired six-course tasting menu, crafted with seasonal and local ingredients.

2. Candlelit dinner at The Newt

For a Valentine’s date with a sizzling twist, Robun brings Japanese dining to life with flair. This stylish spot specialises in yakiniku—succulent meats, seafood, and veggies grilled over a robata fire. 21. Visit the historic city of Wells
